2017: A Spark of Compassion

It all started with a simple thought: "Everyone deserves a ride with dignity." Our founder wasn't trying to build an empire—she just couldn't stand seeing people stranded at the Isha Institute, looking lost and worried about their next move. Little did she know she was about to start something that would change hundreds of lives (and put quite a few miles on some very lucky vehicles).

2018: The Year of "Why Not?"

Picture this: Our founder watching yet another guest struggling with transportation, when suddenly that lightbulb moment hit. Instead of just shaking her head, she thought, "Why not me?" Before you could say "designated driver," she had assembled a dream team of professional drivers who shared her wild idea that safe rides shouldn't cost an arm and a leg.

But success brought its own chaos. During one packed BSP program, she hit full capacity and had to start turning people away (breaking her heart a little each time). When she checked out the competition's prices—yikes! That's when the magic happened. She took to social media like a detective on a mission and found two incredible drivers (J ennifer & Moose )who shared her vision of fair prices and five-star service. They were still doing things old-school then—connecting passengers and drivers directly, like a transportation matchmaker.

2019: The Social Media Revolution

Someone brilliant (okay, it was a marketing expert) suggested, "Hey, why not create a Facebook page?" And boom! Suddenly we had passengers coordinating shared rides before even booking their flights. Our Facebook page turned into the Grand Central Station of ride-sharing, complete with event announcements and chat groups buzzing with travel plans. It was like a virtual carpool party!

2020-2022: The Plot Twist Nobody Saw Coming

Then March 2020 happened. (Cue dramatic music.) COVID-19 hit like a flat tire on a rainy night. Most of our drivers had to pivot faster than a New York cab driver, but our original three? They stuck around like superheroes in a crisis. When Isha reopened, these magnificent three led the charge back, growing our team to nine strong by 2022. Talk about a comeback story!

2023-2024: The Great Adventure Continues

January 2023 brought us the mother of all challenges: 500 ride requests for one program! It was like trying to solve a gigantic puzzle while riding a unicycle. Then two more major events dropped into our laps, because why not make things more interesting?

Just when things couldn't get more intense, our founder had a heart attack (she's okay now, thankfully!). This scary wake-up call led us to discover Calendly—our new best friend in the digital world. No more drowning in spreadsheets or playing phone tag! Now passengers could book rides faster than you can say "Where to?"

April 2024 brought our biggest plot twist yet: our very own website! We're not just a ride service anymore—we're a full-fledged operation with a dedicated team handling everything from customer support to driver communications. Because let's face it, nobody wants their driver texting while navigating mountain roads!

The road ahead? We're figuring out how to properly thank our amazing support team who work magic behind the scenes. They're the unsung heroes making sure every ride goes smoothly, every passenger feels heard, and every driver stays focused on the road (not their phone).

And the solution was the new booking fee.

From one person's compassionate idea to a full-fledged transportation service, we've come a long way. But some things haven't changed: we still believe everyone deserves a great ride, a friendly smile, and maybe even a few good stories along the way. After all, isn't that what the best journeys are made of?
